This post is going to be a running list of tips we collect from our clients outlining best practices they use in their Real Estate businesses. If you have a tip you’d like to share, please submit it using our Contact Us page.
- Regularly Schedule Time to Work ON Your Business, Not IN Your Business. Most of the successful Real Estate professionals I’ve ever known usually spend the first part of their week working on operational issues (marketing, accounting, social media, contractor management, etc.) and the last part of their week working on sales (previewing and showing properties, making offers, networking, etc.). Some super-performers take this concept a step further and carve out sacrosanct blocks of time for uninterrupted, deep work – time when you are entirely focused on a single task. You can learn more about this concept here.
- Control Your Tech. Recent studies have shown that executives who answer email at set times (the data suggests Lunch and Close of Business are the most effective) are over 300% more effective than those executives who are always “on and reachable.” Try this for two weeks and see how it impacts your business. Report back here and let us know. We’ll do likewise.
